BTCCSquare news:

CACEIS, the asset servicing division of Credit Agricole, has taken a minority position in French fintech Kriptown to launch Lise—a blockchain-based exchange targeting small and mid-sized enterprises. Marketed as Europe's first tokenized platform for SME equity financing, Lise aims to streamline public listings using distributed ledger technology.

The exchange currently seeks regulatory approval under the European DLT Trading and Settlement System pilot regime. Successful authorization WOULD enable direct issuance, trading, and settlement of financial instruments on-chain, potentially reducing IPO timelines and costs by eliminating traditional clearing house bottlenecks.

This strategic MOVE follows CACEIS' broader digital asset expansion, including recent MiCA compliance. Kriptown, founded in 2018, specializes in tokenization infrastructure spanning both trading and post-trade operations. Lise anticipates its maiden IPO in 2025, pending regulatory clearance.
